A Prosecutor in Garabito has requested preventative detention for Vincent Patrick Hundley, a Jacó business owner and sponsor of the second division team the Jacó Rays. The same request applies to two attorney notaries who allegedly collaborated with Hundley.
All three face criminal charges of fraud and racketeering. According to the allegations in the case, several foreign investors signed an agreement with Hundley to purchase a property that measures 15,850 square meters, and which is located in the center of Jacó. The investors paid $7 million in exchange for shares in a company that controlled the property.
