The Public Services Regulatory Authority (Aresep) announced that a reduction in the price of fuel would be applied this week.
Super and Plus gasoline will decrease ¢16, and the diesel will have a ¢10 reduction. But not all is good news for drivers, as a decree announced a 1.01% increase in the single tax per fuel type.
This adjustment would affect future rate adjustment requests, which could be reflected in future price increases.
The Executive Decree, signed by Vice President Martín Rodríguez, was published on Thursday in the Official Gazette, so it will rule as of tomorrow, February 1st.
The current rate until today is:
Regular (¢ 243.75), Super (¢ 225.25), Diesel (¢ 144.00), Emulsion (¢ 37.25), Bunker (¢ 23.50), LPG (¢ 49) , 50), Jet Fuel A1 (¢ 146.25), Gas (¢ 243.75), Kerosene (¢ 69.50) and Heavy Diesel (¢ 47.50).
