Starting today, the San José Labor Court will begin its functions. This dependence will be located to the north side of the Metropolitan Cathedral, on Second Avenue between Central Street and Street 1.
This decision is made after a process of internal reorganization and with a view to the entry into force of the Labor Procedural Reform on July 25th.
It will attend to the matters that were designated to the Second Section of the Labor Court and the matters of the Smaller Labor Court, both from Goicoechea. In this way, all the labor files whose code termination is 1178 and 0173, will be transferred to the new headquarters in San José,”
informed the Judicial Branch.
The office in charge of receiving documents, located in Goicoechea, will remain in operation until August 31st.
Subsequent to July 25th, the San José Labor Court will extend its territorial jurisdiction to Mora, Santa Ana, Escazú, Turrubares and Pavas.
