President of the Costa Rican Electricity Institute Carlos Obregón confirmed that the institution appreciates the opportunity to join the project that aims to make San José tram a reality.
The official stated that the tram is a very important work for the country and that the ICE could provide an important support in the project.
San José mayor Johnny Araya announced in late November that there will be a meeting among representatives of ICE, INCOFER and the Municipality of San José in order to reach one purpose: to create a consortium to take over the project.
The mayor declared that a date can’t be suggested since everything depends on how the talks progress among the ones involved.
