San José will not have water this week

The Costa Rican Institute of Aqueducts and Sewers (AYA) announced that eight cantons of the capital will suffer from water cuts during October 7th and 13th.

It is important to mention that the work hours are estimated hours according to the current behavior of the different systems; for this reason, the proposed hours are approximate time ranges,”

said the institution.

The cantons included are:
-San José
-Escazú
-Santa Ana
-Alajuelita
-Curridabat
-Desamparados
-Tibás
-Vázquez de Coronado

According to the entity, there is an imbalance between the supply of liquid and consumer demand despite the fact that the country is going through the rainy season.

The residents of these areas are recommended to store the liquid only for basic needs, in addition to not using it for car washes, gardens or to clean streets and sidewalks.
