School transport: a private service for your children

Classes will start in the blink of an eye. Parents are focused on uniforms and school supplies, but they should not take for granted who is going to take their children to school.

Buses that transport students must be authorized by the Public Transport Council (CTP): they must show the permission, which is a security, pink (or light blue) paper with a hologram that can be seen against the light.

The authorization guarantees people that the bus has insurance in case of an accident.

In addition:

-It must carry a extinguisher.
-Safety belts must work on all seats.
-The bus should have a “Student Transport” label on the side and in the back.
-It can’t be a Seetaxi-plated car.
-If the bus transports elementary students, there must be another adult, besides the driver, to guarantee security.
-It is a private service, so monthly payments are not defined by national authorities.
