In 15 days, Luis Guillermo Solís will hand over power to Carlos Alvarado. A day before, on May 7th, the president will be in San Ramón delivering the new Professional Technical College of San Isidro, in that sector of the West of the country, as announced by the Minister of Communication, Mauricio Herrera.
That will be the president’s last tour in his administration, in which he has accumulated more than 150 trips in the national territory.
But it will not be the only tour during this closing. On Friday, Solís will be in San Carlos inspecting the North End of the Abundancia-Florencia highway, and next Thursday he will be in Caldera in the reception of the patrol boats donated by the United States.
He will use next week to refining his last speech that must be given on May 2nd before the legislators of the Legislative Assembly and he would also be inaugurating the IMAS store at the Juan Santamaria Airport.
According to the Minister of Communication, Solís will also use his last moments to meet with the leaders of the different ministries to be clear about the progress of the different projects to which the new government has to follow up.
