Solís lost his sweet temper and gave a rather agitated speech

April 28, 2017 by Staff News Writer

President Solís has perhaps given his most passionate speech in recent months to defend the work of his administration with a strong voice and firm, defiant arguments, during the presentation of the Map of Works, an electronic tool where people can get information on all the infrastructure and equipment they have installed since 2014.

The numbers are there to be verified, the work is there to be checked. The willingness of the Government to continue working is clear,”

said the President, who gradually became more upset during his speech.

At times his voice broke, while remembering that throughout his administration he has been repeatedly attacked, and knowing that during this election year there will be more hard criticism.

At the press conference after the event, Solis acknowledged that he was passionate about the stage, reiterating that they will not lower their guard despite being told that inaugurating and doing construction work is too much “campaign game”.
