Some 30 people resumed search for tourist in Montezuma

From 5:30 a.m. on Sunday, about 30 people resumed the search for Gerlinde Hahne, the 75-year-old German tourist who disappeared on Thursday in the community of Las Delicias in Montezuma, Puntarenas.

Raquel Moore, a friend of the family, explained that friends and family moved to Malpaís and Santa Teresa to place signs, as the police told them it was necessary.

She added that this Sunday another dog was added to the search team, so there are already two canines trying to track down the woman from Munich, Germany.

Gerlinde Hahne arrived in the country on April 30th for her son’s wedding, which would have been held on Saturday, but had to be canceled.

Last Thursday, at around 2:00 p.m., the German citizen went out for a walk on the family property, located in the community of Las Delicias, between Montezuma and Cóbano, and that was the last time they saw her.

Gerlinde wore light colored trousers, a printed blouse and black sandals. She has clear complexion, she’s short and extremely thin weighinh about 40 kilos.
