A strong earthquake shook the national territory on Wednesday afternoon at 3:33 p.m.
The tremor had magnitude of 5,6 according to the National Seismological Network (RSN).
The epicenter was located 4.0 km southwest of Golfito in Puntarenas. It was perceived strongly in the Central Valley.
