Strong winds wreaked havoc on Cartago

Strong winds wreaked havoc in several areas of Cartago on Sunday.

Leonel Jiménez, supervisor of the Fire Department reported that received alerts for falling trees and affected power lines in various parts of the province.

Several houses lost the roof after the strong winds and the neighbors of Capellades, Pacayas, Oreamuno and Quircot were the most affected.

According to the Facebook profile of Cartago Communications, there were trees falling on the road, damage to traffic light systems in La Lima, power outages in San Nicolás and Llano Grande, among others.
