The Constitutional Court reaffirmed the refusal to use external advertisement on taxis.
A bus driver raised an appeal that led to the analysis of the case. According to the complaint, the fact that buses must use external advertisement and taxis don’t have to is discriminatory.
While analyzing the case, judges indicated that it is necessary to differentiate between transport buses and light vehicles that perform taxi tasks. According to authorities, the size of each type of vehicle can make justifiable advertising on buses, but simply inadequate to do so in taxis.
To the court, the article does not affect the right to equality. Therefore, they rejected the appeal.
