Experts from technology companies such as Trip Advisor, Google, Expedia and Amadeus will be in the country participating in the second edition of the Central America Innovation Tourism + Talk.
This workshop is aimed at tourism companies so they learn about the techniques of use and exploitation of big data as a tool in the design of promotional plans and digital tourism marketing.
The objective of the activity is for the tourism sector to adapt to the current technological dynamics and to increase competitiveness against other markets in the region.
The event will be held on October 4th at the Convention Center and will allow participants to learn directly from the representatives of these companies of the digital tourism marketing about marketing through the use of online travel agencies, techniques to generate a positive online reputation and execute an intelligent digital promotion, among other topics.
This workshop is part of a caravan that is organized in all seven countries of Central America and in Costa Rica is organized by the National Chamber of Tourism (Canatur) with the support of the Costa Rican Tourism Institute (ICT), in coordination with the Agency of Tourism Promotion of Central America (CATA) and the Central American Federation of Chambers of Tourism (Fedecatur).
