According to the United States Geological Survey (USGS), the 7.2 magnitude earthquake that occurred in El Salvador a few minutes ago was felt from Guatemala to Costa Rica.
The earthquake epicenter was located in the eastern department of Usulutan, with a 33-kilometer depth.
Users reported through The National Seismological Network (RNS) Facebook page that the quake was felt in places like Ciudad Colón, Poas de Alajuela, Moravia, Turrialba, La Aurora de Heredia, La Uruca, Desamparados, among others.
Apparently, no damages are reported in El Salvador as a result of the earthquake.
The National Monitoring System, from the National University, ruled out a Tsunami alert in Costa Rica.
