The route that communicates Jardines del Recuerdo with La Pozuelo is an alternative route to General Cañas Highway, where “La Platina” is located. At the end of January the closures of both roads are likely to coincide.
La Platina bridge: From January 21st and during a month and a half, La Platina bridge will be partially closed from 6 am to 9 am and from 4 pm to 7 pm. Only public transportation and emergency cars will be able to use it. There will be one lane enabled in each direction.
Jardines-Pozuelo: several weeks ago, the MOPT announced the night closure on the route to Heredia. The passage will be completely closed from January 24th to January 26th, from 10 pm to 4 am. In addition, il will be also closed from February 5th to February 7th, from 10 pm to 4 am.
Minister of Transport Carlos Villalta is not sure about the closures, but if they coincide, they will inform people in advance.
