According to Minister of the Presidency Sergio Alfaro, the bill that aims to reduce wage bonuses in the public sector is not that significant.
Even though the bill is a governmental initiative, national authorities reached that conclusion in the Social Affairs Commission in the National Assembly, where the proposal is being descussed at the request of the Executive.
Alfaro declared that spite of being an impressive initiative, from a fiscal point of view, it is not that important.
Official Pacheco stated the same, since savings in annuities, prohibition and availability are not enough.
The Minister declared that the initiative could represent an increase to the public expenditure.
The official also expressed his opinion on the collective bargaining agreement.
Alfaro emphasized that the bill will have little impact on the fiscal deficit. However, the Executive will insist on having new tax projects.
The Minister also declared that the fast track is the only way to have the public employment project and the tax initiatives read in the National Assembly.
