By 2018, Costa Rica would be inaugurating its National Convention Center, which will benefit business tourism, the one that is already taking place in the country, but from that moment, it will have greater repercussion.
During the first days of February, President Luis Guillermo Solís placed the first stone of the work and assured that in a year the building would be ready.
By doing this, the country would be holding activities in which about 1200 people would participate.
Currently, according to data from the Bureau of Conventions, a private organization that works in the country along with the Costa Rican Institute of Tourism, the country organizes meetings for 450 or 500 people.
However, Pablo Solano, from this organization, assures that by the moment the Convention Center is inaugurated, they will be ready to meet the requested expectations.
According to the agency, the kind of clients that the National Convention Center will hold must be taken into account because those details will make the difference.
