The wonders of nature! A tapir was seen in Corcovado National Park

February 20, 2017 by Staff News Writer

Costa Rica is privileged to have such a spectacular flora and fauna, which commonly gives us shows worth seeing over and over again.

In Corcovado National Park, in the Southern Zone of the country, a tapir was recorded while it was looking something to eat on the ground. For almost two minutes, the animal remained calm, without noticing that it was being filmed.

The video was recorded by Eliécer Arce, a worker from the National Park, and it was uploaded to Padrinos del Área de Conservación Osa Facebook page.

In addition to watching the tapir, you can hear the sounds of the forest, which shows the wonders that the country offers in each of its corners.

There is also another video in which you can see a tapir with its baby when they crossed a path and entered the forest. It took place in Guanacaste Conservation Area.
