The Immigration Department started printing new passports, which come with three changes aimed at increasing the security measures of the documents.

This is the F series and it has been printing since the beginning of March. The lot consists of 400 thousand passports.
In 2016, only 267,346 passport requests were received in the different offices.
These improvements in passports reinforce the security of this document in the pursuit of the security of its bearer, not only protecting the data contained therein, but for international use before other immigration authorities,”
