Legal security on strikes, modernization of Japdeva, strengthening of competition, telecommuting and the extraordinary budget, are the projects that the Executive Branch sees as a priority during this period of extraordinary sessions in Congress, according to the Minister of the Presidency, Víctor Morales, facing the final stretch of the extraordinary period.
Morales said they are confident that next week they can “release” the consultation on the draft Telecommuting Law and that they can proceed to the vote in the second reading.
He insisted that the line they lead is towards containment of spending, sanitation of public finances and good governance.
The projects to which the government refers are:
Project No. 21,303. Law on Strengthening the Competition Authorities of Costa Rica.
Project No. 21,049. Law to provide legal certainty on strikes and their procedures.
Project N ° 21,426. Japdeva modernization law and protection of its servers.
Project No. 21,141. Law to regulate teleworking.
Project N ° 21,526. Fourth Extraordinary Budget of the Republic.
