This weekend, authorities arrested more than 100 people in mega-operation

This weekend, the Public Force and other police bodies managed to capture 102 outlaws throughout the national territory.

Police mega-operative number 13 in the last two months the police caught 47 people with pending issues for misdemeanors and other 18 were caught while participating in an illegal act. In addition, another 17 had arrest warrants, nine of them for breaching the Weapons and Explosives Law, seven for crimes against property, and four with a presentation regime.

In terms of migration, the authorities arrested 32 people who remained illegally on national territory.

The police also succeeded in removing nine firearms and 72 ammunition from the streets, as well as 15 puncturing weapons.

Anti-drug authorities added the confiscation of 361 grams of marijuana, 70 grams of cocaine, and 215 doses of crack, as well as 167 flasks of ketamine from Nicaragua, detected inside a public transport bus.

Daniel Calderón, director of the Public Force, stressed that crimes against property were prevented by stopping four robberies.

The Traffic Police achieved the confiscation of two vehicles with a theft report and four motorcycles in the same condition. There were 147 infractions to the Traffic Law by vehicles and another 432 by motorcycles.

Additionally, a man wanted for murder was finally caught in Upala.
