Ticos will be able to anonymously inform the OIJ via Internet

Costa Rican citizens may file complaints with the Judicial Investigation Agency (OIJ) via Internet.

This was announced by the entity during the presentation of ITS new website. The platform will also allow people to consult online and have access to virtual procedures.

We want to be close to the population and listen to the citizens. We will have forums for consultation and discussion,”

explained Wálter Espinoza, director of OIJ.

To file complaints anonymously, a section of the Confidential Information Center was placed on the site www.poder-judicial.go.cr/oij

In addition, the platform will allow security authorities to join the transparency network promoted by the Office of the Ombudsman, so the entity will make available the information related to budgets, institutional plans, trips abroad and agenda of its hierarchs.
