If you do not know the natural wonders of this country, this is your moment.
The Palo Verde National Park, Tortuguero, Tapantí-Macizo de la Muerte, Carara and Arenal Volcano have a number of challenges for visitors as part of the CRx5 Challenge that started on Thursday and will run until June 2nd.
The objective is to promote responsible and conscientious tourism with an initiative headed by the Costa Rica por Siempre Association (ACRXS), which has the support of the Ministry of Environment and Energy (MINAE) and the National System of Conservation Areas (SINAC).
This contest is made for teams of 3 to 5 people who must complete their registration through a web form (click here).
Registration is free and each team has up to 8 weeks, between April 6th and June 2nd, 2017, to tour the five selected parks and complete the challenges established for each one of them.
Each challenge will have up to 5 tasks. To overcome it, each group will have to take a group photograph next to the information label that the Association placed in each park.
Then they will have to publicly share it on their Facebook wall, tagging the ACRXS profile and using the hashtags # ChallengeCRx5 and #CameraName.
The winning team will have a top prize of $800, but the second and third place will also be rewarded with $200. The result and standings of the finalist teams will be posted on the Association’s Facebook page.
