The Minister of Communication, Mauricio Herrera, accepted that the survey data from the Center for Research and Politics Studies at the University of Costa Rica (CIEP) generates a real concern, mainly because unemployment became the biggest problem for Costa Ricans.
That’s one of the most important reasons for people to have a pessimistic opinion and that is why citizens are not seeing the good results in economic and social care that the country has achieved,
explained the minister.
According to Herrera, the increasing of foreign investment in the country and tourism will generate in the coming months new jobs that should decrease the unemployment rates and, thus, many families will find relief from their economic problems.
