A top US executive from New York died ON Saturday while celebrating his 65th birthday at a resort located near the Pacuare River in Costa Rica.
Entrepreneur John Anderson was originally from Pittsford, a town located in Monroe County, in the state of New York.
According to media reports such as the NY Post, NBC , ABC or the Daily Mail, the foreigner would have fallen from a height of 30 meters while doing a tourist activity in the area’s forests.
Anderson was the executive director of Wilmorite and is identified by the NY Post as a millionaire executive who made his fortune through real estate ventures for the development of malls in New York City and nearby areas.
Most recently, he served as an executive at Ryco Management, a company also oriented to real estate development. He was also a university professor at the University of Rochester, where he studied the economic and financial areas.
Apparently, the foreigner visited Costa Rica along with relatives and close friends.
James Ryan, who was Anderson’s partner at Ryco Management, said his partner was a brilliant and honest businessman, who was father to four children.
The causes that mediated the death of the foreigner are unclear.
According to foreign media, Anderson enjoyed dinner on the top of several trees. His fall would have come as he returned to earth.
