Turrialba and neighboring areas tremble at 4.8 degrees

On Saturday, at 3:38 p.m. there was a tremor of great intensity, which was reported in several parts of the country.

The epicenter of the quake was five miles south of Santa Teresita in Turrialba.

According to followers of the Facebook page of the National Seismological Network (RSN), the telluric movement was felt in Escazú, Aserrí, Pérez Zeledón and San Antonio de Belén.

It was also reported in Cartago, Tejar del Guarco, Desamparados and Santo Domingo de Heredia, but much lighter.
