According to the report of the Volcanological and Seismological Institute of Costa Rica (OVSICORI), Turrialba Volcano erupted again on September 17th at 9:48 pm.
The ash column rose to 500 meters above the height of the crater. Gases and hot rocks were ejected in the eruption, as explained b OVSICORI.
According to experts, there were no reports of ash fall events.
Since September 13th, the volcano has had constant activity.
