According to the report from the Volcanological and Seismological Observatory of Costa Rica (OVSICORI), Turrialba volcano lowered its intensity.
There is no tremor at the seismic stations located in the area. Degasification is taking place with high components of water vapor and gases and ash is minimal,
declared OVSICORI on its Facebook page.
Residents from La Pastora and Cartago Pacayas will be affected by the ashfall, because the wind is going south, as explained by the National Meteorological Institute (IMN).
