Turrialba will display the best of its land in its Tourism Festival

Turrialba will show off its best attributes to receive the visitors of the II edition of its Tourism Festival with attractive offers in tourism, meals, artisan products from the area and an ideal party atmosphere to enjoy with the family.

The fair, organized by the Turrialba Chamber of Tourism, will take place on Saturday, August 31st, and Sunday, September 1st, at the Tropical Agronomic Center for Research and Education (Catie), from 9 am to 5 pm. It will be free and there will be parking available for 100 vehicles, with a cost of ₡3,000 for the entire day.

The two-day agenda will feature a wide variety of activities and spaces to enjoy as a family. For example, the presence of Rondalla Turrialbeña, the Caribbean Rhythm Dance Group and a presentation of typical Turrialbeña Folk Projection dances, as well as a colorful parade of traditional bands and games. There will also be an exhibition and sale of traditional foods from the area, as well as “rice & beans” with chicken, artisan breads, ceviches and coffees from the region.

said Jana Daigle, president of the Turrialba Chamber of Tourism.

The space is also ideal to benefit from special offers to visit Turrialba, since the exhibitors will have different packages available to visitors, so they can go rafting, canyoning, visit coffee farms and get to know the attractive hotels of area.

The festival ends on Sunday at 3 pm with a great concert with the group Son de Tikizia.
