U.S. citizen in critical condition after injury in bull ring

The young man was taken to Calderon Guardia hospital, where he remains in critical condition.


A young U.S. national and missionary, identified as Derry is in unstable condition at Calderon Guardia hospital after suffering trauma to the neck in a bull fight. Saturday also happened to be the man’s birthday, which he celebrated by participating in the bull ring in Zapote. Witnesses say the bull’s horn’s slashed through the man’s neck as if it were paper.
