Vehicle runs over six cyclists in Vuelta a Nicoya

On Sunday morning, six cyclists of the elite category were attacked by a vehicle when competing in Vuelta a Nicoya.

The information was released on the CR Cycling page. The unofficial version is that the cyclists invaded the lane in a curve and they ran into the vehicle. This is investigated by the authorities that will corroborate or discard the information.

According to the information provided on the page, the injured were Daniel Jara, Leonardo Campos, Dylan Castillo, Fabricio Quiros, Pablo Mudarra, and Manuel Larios.

Although nothing is confirmed, there is talk that Jara would have a broken leg and arm, which would be one of the most serious cases. The other competitors had several injuries.

The event occurred before reaching La Amistad Bridge in the direction of Nicoya.
