Volaris Costa Rica, a Mexican-owned company, expanded its operation in the region and inaugurated its new routes to Guatemala and Nicaragua from El Salvador last week.
Similarly, on July 1st, the routes from San José to Cancun and Guadalajara will be operated from Costa Rica. In August, a direct flight to Mexico City will be added, for a total of three direct flights.
The cost of flights to Guadalajara and Cancun is from $ 125 with taxes included to fly in low seasons.
During the year, the airline has generated 84 direct jobs, which have been distributed as follows: 11 administrative positions and 73 operations positions. In total, the list reaches 141 Costa Rican employees.
Recently, Volaris faced opposition from other airlines to enter the US market.
