A man named Herrera kept a plantation of marijuana in his backyard. He was caught by the authorities on Wednesday noon in Turrubares.
The arrest was made in the neighborhood Mata de Plátano, thanks to a confidential complaint that warned about the plantation in a land located in front of a famous bar in the community.
According to the police report, the plants were growing “with special care” and had been recently cut and placed in the sun to dry.
Herrera was referred to the Public Prosecutor for the appropriate course of action.
