The savings of clients of Banco Crédito Agrícola de Cartago (Bancrédito) that are not withdrawn before July 15th will no longer be in sight, according to the bank.
The same fate will hit the resources that remain in current accounts after the date. Automatic payments will also cease on that day.
The money of those who do not make the withdrawal process within the term granted will go to a trust and will only be returned through a claim process.
We are giving enough time for our clients to withdraw their money, in an orderly manner, preferably electronically, for safety, and to avoid setbacks,”
said Gerardo Porras, the company’s manager.
Other services that will also be rendered until July 15th are: management checks, accounts in foreign banks, ratification and certification of checks, deposits to accounts of the National Bank, purchase and sale of dollars and the service of night mailbox.
Since May 30th, Bancrédito has suspended the opening of new savings, current and multipurpose accounts, as well as the delivery of new credit cards, credit applications and the turning of resources to revolutionary credits, regardless of their level of resolution.
