232 athletes will gather on November 26th and November 27th at the WOD Fest 2016, the most important crossfit competition of the country
This is the 6th edition, which brings together the best competitors in this discipline. Athletes from Costa Rica, Honduras, Guatemala, El Salvador and Panama will participate in the event.
This 2016, we will have 232 athletes and a working team of 110 people; we also expect the participation of 1,800 fans of this sport, which has had a tremendous growth and an exponential support in the country,
informed Tomás Calvo, event organizer.
What will you find?
-4 female and male categories (RX, Climbing, Master and Teens).
-Emotion and effort in each of the 7 individual events.
-You will be able to observe high-performance competitions.
-One of the tests has a swimming part.
How will it work?
The athletes will aim to classify a semifinal and then to a great final on Sunday.
Where will it be and how much will the entrance cost?
The WOD Fest 2016 will be held at the facilities of Saint Jude Private School, located in Santa Ana. Tickets will cost 7,000 colones per day or 12,000 colones for both days. You can buy them at Crossfit SNAGA (Lindora, Escazú and Ciudad Colón) and at Reebok stores (Multiplaza Escazú and Multiplaza Curridabat).
